General Summary
Responsible for the physical movement of drop trailers in and out of dock warehouse dock doors and/or on the drop lot. Monitors truck drivers activities outside the warehouse office. Track and monitors drop trailers and communicate potential demurrage charges to OL - Warehouse.
Key Work Performed
Responsible for the physical movement of drop semi-trailers in and out of dock warehouse dock doors and/or on the drop lot. Monitors truck drivers activities outside the warehouse office.
Track and monitors drop trailers and communicate potential demurrage charges to OL - Warehouse.
Complete Daily Yard Check Report.
Communicate deficiencies that could negatively impact the Plant's production schedule to appropriate individuals within 48 hours prior to production run start time
Inform Warehouse Leads of packaging components located on dropped trailers and required for a production run 48 hours prior to production run start time.
Loading and Unloading packaging materials/finished good.
Hauling pallets of finished products from production lines to warehouse storage location.
Supplying pallets of packaging components from warehouse storage location to production line(s) to meet production requirements.
Stage components for production lines/Prepare line sheets.
Perform EOR counts, cycle counts, miscellaneous PI counts.
Housekeeping (Including, but not limited to, sweeping, emptying dumpsters and/or trash cans, repairing items which may have been subjected to warehouse damage, etc.)
Participate in weekly warehouse meetings/safety tailgates, plant wide safety meeting, and quarterly information meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
A. Education:
High School Diploma required.
B.
Experience:
Class A CDL required
1 year of experience in warehouse and/or production environment.
C. Knowledge:
Knowledge of Warehouse SOP's.
D. Skills and Abilities:
Ability to operate a Yard Tractor
Ability to utilize SAP inventory system, excel spreadsheet, and e-mail.
Ability to read and understand the Plant's Production Schedule.
Ability to perform basic mathematics: examples - Determines Loss/Waste factor when
staging components. Determines weight distribution, considering axle weight restrictions,
when loading outbound loads.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written with internal and external
co-workers, customers, suppliers, etc.
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple simultaneous tasks, with interruptions.
Ability to work any shift and overtime
Ability to operate a fork truck in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in a team environment and promote teamwork.
Job: Supply ChainEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
